Blossom Hill Shares Emotionally Charged Debut EP, 'Home Colours'

Eight-track record bridges his homes of London and Berlin

'Home Colours' captures six months of Blossom Hill's personal experiences into a compelling 31-minute journey of electronica.

Crafted in his Berlin bedroom, the city Blossom Hill now calls home, 'Home Colours' functions as a "love letter back to London and people I missed."

The aptly titled opener 'Loading...' begins by collaging fragments of sonic memories from the British producer, DJ, and photographer's hometown. We hear soundbites of friend's voices, laughter and even a train ticket inspector. Likewise, the contemplative track two, 'Darkest Hour' captures a recording of a train travelling through a station, creating a feeling of transience.

Elsewhere, Blossom Hill works with heavier production on 'Don't Look Back', transitioning into a club space with tracks 'Only Way Up', before heading into lighter territory with euphoric 'Are They Here Yet?'

"It's a record about the beautifully intense moments of human connection, even in the knowledge that they won't last forever," he shares.

'Home Colours' is out now.
